Today petrol price in Pakistan
On Saturday, the government announced a R3.01-liter increase in fuel prices in line with rising global oil prices, according to a statement issued by the Finance Division.
Petrol, which has been increased by Rs3.01, will now cost R147.83 a liter, while diesel speed increase by R3, will cost R144.62 a liter.
In addition, paraffin will cost Rs3 more and will cost Rs116.48 a liter, while less diesel oil will cost Rs3.33 more than Rs114.54 a liter.
The new rates will take effect from January 16.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has proposed an increase of Rs5.52 a liter on petrol prices and Rs6.19 a liter on HSD prices.
"Petroleum products show a quarterly profit and a 6.2% increase last week in the international market," the statement read.
It went on to say that prices in international markets are at a high level since last year.
The Treasury has said the current sales tax rate and fuel tax on various petroleum products fall far short of budgeted terms.
"Contrary to the recommendation of OGRA [...] the Prime Minister has ordered that international tariffs be taken with a reduction in sales tax from the past two days," we read in a statement.
"The Department of Finance will take R2.6 billion of revenue from the reduction of sales taxes. Therefore, the government has decided to gradually increase the prices of petroleum products to help.
